SYSTEM ONE
The SYSTEM ONE Follow Focus Master Kit for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III is a gearless follow focus and support system. The gearless direct-drive focusing wheel is machined from industrial plastic bearing material, and has a soft high-tech O-ring for positive rubber-on-rubber operation. Each dedicated kit provides a custom fit via a dedicated, camera-specific camera plate; SYSTEM ONE can be used with other cameras as long as a dedicated Camera Plate is purchased for each additional camera. Advantages
SYSTEM ONE delivers perfect primary balance, a very low center-of-gravity, great adjustability, and minimal mass. The UniRail is the foundational platform for SYSTEM ONE, and can be longitudinally positioned for the perfect balancing of any camera, lens, and accessory configuration without the need of an adapter plate. The UniRail's unique dovetail design is compatible for direct mounting into many popular tripod fluid heads (listed under the "Specifications" tab). All SYSTEM ONE UniRails also provide a centralized Quick Release Base Pad that offers both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded bosses to fit any fluid head quick release plate. If you happen to use fluid head that is not directly mountable, we suggest using the Manfrotto 577 Rapid Connect Adapter (found under the "Accessories" tab) to fully benefit from the longitudinal positioning functionality. SYSTEM ONE can be mounted on most shoulder rigs, tripods and monopods. All four UniRail lengths from 6" to 16" are also included for maximum flexibility.
The SYSTEM ONE Follow Focus Master Kit is extremely versatile, and includes 2 Gearless Follow Focus Wheels, 2 Lens Braces for long lenses, and 3 Risers for mounting the Follow Focus Wheels and the Lens Braces in a variety of configurations. The Lens Brace provides support for longer lenses such as the 70-200mm series, 100 macro, 300mm f4 or the 400mm f5.6 and is suggested for use with these or other long lenses. The second Gearless Wheel Assembly may be used on the zoom ring where there is enough room on the lens. Specifically, the Canon 70-200mm series allows for the second wheel on the same side of the lens.
The SYSTEM ONE Accessory Mounting Bracket offers a great way to mount your DSLR's accessories. This light-weight billet-aluminum bracket features an adjustable position sliding mount, allowing you to configure it in a sideways "C" mount or in a horizontal "U" mount. The Accessory Mounting Bracket offers .260" through-holes that are perfect for direct-mounting anything that can be attached with a 1/4"-20 fastener. Also included are options for mounting accessories, including 2 Cold Shoes and a Quick Release Clamp and Plate for accessories that need to be attached and removed easily and quickly.
Viewfinders
This SYSTEM ONE kit offers compatibility with the SYSTEM ZERO Viewfinder V1 (Not included). The SYSTEM ZERO Viewfinder features a Hoodman HoodLoupe 3.0 which has been adapted by iDC. Our custom quick-release bracket makes it fast and easy to remove the loupe in order to use the camera's pentaprism viewfinder for still photography.
This SYSTEM ONE kit offers compatibility with the Zacuto Z-Finder via the Z-Finder Mounting Frame Z-MFS32.
Forward Compatibility
SYSTEM ONE offers excellent forward compatibility. When the time comes to upgrade your camera, just the addition of a new camera-specific camera plate is needed to move this system forward. Made in the USA. Learn More About SYSTEM ONE

- SYSTEM ONE features our unique Gearless Follow Focus. This gearless system offers economy, super-fast lens swaps, and smooth and accurate focus acquisition.
- The iDC Gearless Follow Focus Wheel accepts 1/2" white graphic tape for focusing marks.
- The Gearless Follow Focus Wheel's square-drive is industry standard and accepts any Arri-style follow focus Whip or Crank.
- iDC's direct-drive Gearless Follow Focus Wheel features an economical and user replaceable O-Ring. These O-Rings are very tough, but if your dog chews one up it's a snap to replace.
- SYSTEM ONE accepts a variety of LCD loupes including the iDC quick-release-adapted Hoodman HoodLoupe 3.0, the Zacuto Z-Finder Pro, LCDVF, and other direct to LCD mount style viewfinders.
- Many SYSTEM ZERO Camera Plates accept the Zacuto Z-Finder Pro (not included) when the Z-Finder is equipped with a Zacuto Mounting Frame. The iDC Camera Plate replaces the Zacuto Gorilla Plate in this instance. Please check for compatibility with each camera.
- All SYSTEM ONE UniRails are directly compatible with many popular video tripod quick release clamps, no quick release plate necessary.
- All SYSTEM ONE UniRails provide instant and painless placement of the Gearless Follow Focus Wheel to work with a broad spectrum of lenses.
- The underside of all UniRails feature a reenforced Mounting Pad, threaded for both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 fasteners. All UniRails will accept any fluid head's Quick Release Plate.
- All foundation components are CNC milled from aircraft-grade aluminum, finished with soft edges, and hard-anodized in Satin Black for sleek looks and tactile pleasure. Our Grip Handles are machined from high-tech Acetel plastic and finely checkered for a sure grip.

UniRail Compatibility & Lens Measurement Chart
The iDC SYSTEM ONE uses our unique Double-Dovetail UniRail, which provides almost infinite adjustability. The position of the camera body Follow Focus, and Accessory Mounting Brackets can be easily adjusted and balanced to taste. 6, 9, 12, and 16 inch UniRails are available.
To the right is a chart showing tripod fluid heads that the UniRail can mount directly into, bypassing the need for a quick-release plate and extending the balancability of your fluid head.

The Far Distance is the farthest distance measurement from your camera's lens mount to your lens focus ring.
Please note: Canon Cinema Lenses, Zeiss Compact Primes, and Super Telephoto lenses are not compatible with our Follow Focus products. Our Geared Follow Focus products are compatible with Zeiss ZE/ZF and Leica R lenses.
