Manfrotto 577 Rapid Connect Adapter

Although SYSTEM ONE is compatible with any fluid head via the mounting pad on the bottom of the UniRail, it performs best when using any of the directly compatible fluid heads where a quick release plate isn't necessary. However, if you have a fluid head that isn't directly compatible, you can mount this adapter to your quick release plate to convert it into a directly compatible SYSTEM ONE fluid head.

You can also use the Manfrotto 577 on a shoulder mount to add time-saving quick release functionality. The Manfrotto 577 gives you the freedom to remove the camera from the head without detaching it from the plate and put it on any other support. Compatible with the 501PL (old 3433PL) camera plate (supplied with the 3433, 3460, and 3465 heads) and the special 501PLONG accessory plate.
