Michael Corsentino has a packed speaking calendar this year, and we recommend going to one of his events. He will be teaching different strategies and lighting techniques, and will be seen using the Triple Threat, Softbox Double Header, Radio Popper PX Slipper Kit, and the Asymmetrical Stripbank. 

Michael is an award-winning photographer and a Westcott Top Pro. He has produced successful training for photographers with Kevin Kubota and phototraining4u.com, as well as being featured on Scott Kelby's blog and in the GoingPro Book and GoingPro Podcast. Michael will be releasing a book this year, titled Canon Speedlite Digital Field Guide under Wiley & Sons Publishing (ISBN 9781118112892).

CES 2012 is wrapping up, and Bruce is heading over to The Big Easy for PPA's 2012 Imaging USA convention at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. You can find him in Canon's tradeshow booth giving a presentation on "Creative Cinematography". You will also find him there giving free speedlite tips. Stop by and say hello!

Bruce created a series of free Speedlite Tutorials for the Canon Digital Learning Center, titled Environmental Portraits with Speedlites: Tutorial Series.
You will need to go to Canon's Digital Learning Center to watch the tutorials.

Davin Ellicson is a American Photographer based in Bucharest, Romania.

Davin is shown with the iDC U-Boat video cage working on a multimedia piece. His project shows how a grant from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is helping to build a modern library system across Romania. His piece focuses on one librarian who shares her experiences as she is trained by the International Research and Exchanges Board and investigates how her village has benefitted with the delivery of new computers.

iDC’s friend and French Ambassador, Director Sébastien Devaud, sent us some nice behind-the-scenes production stills from his prime-time program, “Zone Interdite”.

“Forbidden Zone” as it translates into English, is hosted by French Journalist Melissa Theuriau. Sébastien, a very experienced filmmaker, has been lensing this show for six years.
