Although this CLL Speedlite Workshop was held much earlier in the summer, the timing of this video’s release is perfect. Thanks to my friends at Canon USA, this week will find me “on assignment” to create a ten-part series of instructional videos on this very same subject; Environmental Portraiture with Canon Speedlites.

Well, another convention in Las Vegas is wrapped and in the can.

On Monday morning, I kicked off the show by presenting a platform program called “The Moving Portrait” which was well-received with excellent reviews (My presentation notes are attached at the end of this posting).  The presentation room accommodated about 400 people and we had a full house. I was pleased to be joined onstage by the talented Joseph Victor Stefanchik of JVS Pictures in Dallas.  JVS graciously allowed me share a couple of his excellent fusion-style moving portraits alongside my own projects and the audience response was enthusiastic for all.

Thanks to all who attended and welcome to the iDC Blog!
