Good Times at WPPI!
Well, another convention in Las Vegas is wrapped and in the can.
On Monday morning, I kicked off the show by presenting a platform program called “The Moving Portrait” which was well-received with excellent reviews (My presentation notes are attached at the end of this posting). The presentation room accommodated about 400 people and we had a full house. I was pleased to be joined onstage by the talented Joseph Victor Stefanchik of JVS Pictures in Dallas. JVS graciously allowed me share a couple of his excellent fusion-style moving portraits alongside my own projects and the audience response was enthusiastic for all.
Thanks to all who attended and welcome to the iDC Blog!
I also did multiple lighting and video presentations in the palatial Canon Booth. Canon has chosen to feature our iDC Speedlite and HDSLR gear in their display and demonstration areas and we’re trilled to be included in the fold. Again, we had excellent response and made many new friends in the process.
The iDC Photo Video booth was always super-busy with many interested folks poking, prodding, and gosh, even buying our tough little gadgets. We had a much better response from this group than we had anticipated and we’re glad we made the decision to display our wares.
Our next convention stop will be back in Vegas at NAB in April. We’ll be in booth number C8438, not too far from Uncle Canon’s displays.
Hope to see many of our Indie Filmmaking pals at that one...
